The Ascot Hotel Cologne, Cologne

The hotel was spacious and conveniently located near the main street, making it easy to access. The rooms were large enough but needed better cleaning. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially in the breakfast hall. However, some areas of the hotel were run down, surrounded by nightclubs and with a few disappointing dining options.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were a bit dark and old-fashioned, they were very spacious and comfortable. The service was excellent, especially from the older gentlemen at reception in the evening. The location was convenient, just 2 minutes from the Underground station. The dining experience was more than satisfactory, offering a variety of foods cooked fresh. The facilities were good overall.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms out the back with a balcony were not only big and cozy but also filled with many pieces of furniture, making it feel like a home away from home. The spacious and nicely decorated room was big and very comfy, providing me with a fantastic retreat.
